In this work I have chosen to interpret ‘place’ as hierarchy, the position we humans really hold, linked to all other lifeforms on this Earth (not the deluded one we imagine is our place). The hexagon is a recurring shape in many living things—from insect wings to honeycomb—which is why I chose it for the structure of this book.
