Man-made cities are mammoth landscapes built up of minute details, full of people, noise and purpose which we experience mostly at ground level. In our dreams and memories, the remembered or invented fragments of various experienced places meld together in quiet, detail-less landscapes, void of colour, people and movement becoming the stage sets for imaginary scenarios which we can view and traverse from any angle.
