Prints and paper

Prints can be produced as either multiples or monoprints.

Multiples are a series of identical impressions from the same printing surface and are produced in limited numbered editions. Printing methods include woodcut, linocut, etching, lithography, screenprinting and digital printing. Editioned prints are signed, numbered and dated.

Monoprints are one-off prints. They can be created using the same techniques as multiple prints, but no two prints are alike. Monoprinting allows for the combining of printmaking and hand-colouring or painting.
